Conceive Couple Care Clinic is a unit of well known Leela Nursing Home - a trusted birthing centre which brought smiles to many families over four decades. The third generation of children born here still come looking for the legendary Dr.Leela “Amma” to care for their daughters
The Present Status
The Clinical Director, Dr.S.Vidhya Prabhakar and Managing Director, Dr.S.Prabhakar following her footsteps are both popular in and around Salem for their ethical, economical and earnest patient centric approach towards infertile couples. Many couples have become proud parents under their compassionate guidance.
Dr.Vidhya Prabhakar also excels in handling high risk pregnancies, gynecological surgeries including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and gynecologic cancer screening.
Dr.Prabhakar is an acclaimed specialist in handling Urological problems like urinary tract stones, male and female incontinence, prostatic diseases. He is also passionate about Andrology and Sexual medicine providing hope to many needy men in this region.

- MCh - Urology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal,1998. Experience in the field of Urology and Andrology for over 23 years.
- Fellowship training for a year in the Dept.of Urology, National University Hospital, Singapore,2001
- Undergone basic laparoscopy training from Dr.Ramalingam, Coimbatore.
- Undergone training in Reconstructive Urology from Dr.Kulkarni’s centre,Pune
- Observership course in Andrology under Dr.S S Vasan, Ankur IVF, Bangalore

- MBBS & M.D from one of the oldest and prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Completed her M.D in 1993, experience post MD -27 years
- Assisted Reproductive Technique Training including IVF/ICSI at NUH, Singapore
- Gynaec Laparoscopy Training from Joseph Nursing Home,Chennai and Paul’s Hospital, Cochin
- Hysteroscopy and skills update at Surya Hospital ( Dr.Gopinath ),Chennai and from Prachi Hospital ( Dr.P C Mohapatra), Cuttack, Orissa.

- Has rich experience of teaching & learning from one of the best teaching institutions in the country, KMC Manipal. Worked as Assistant Professor in the Dept.of Obs.& Gynaecology from 1995-2000.
- Worked for a short period at JIPMER Pondicherry, CGHS Gynec & Maternity Centre, New Delhi and Vinayaka Missions Medical college,Salem.
